  • Trimark is pleased to announce the sale of a small office/medical building in Vienna, VA for $2,921,000. Trimark represented the seller, "Madison Homes", in the transaction.

October 2007
Trimark announced the hiring of Dean J. Oriend as General Manager of Mechanical Services and Francis “Charles” Minor as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Oriend and Mr. Minor were both employed by Micron Technology in one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States in Manassas, VA. Mr. Oriend has specialized in HVAC, Instrumentation, Controls and Life Safety systems.

  • Trimark is awarded property management and facilities maintenance responsibilities for Sherwood Hall Medical Center, a 30,000 square foot medical condominium, in Alexandria, VA.
  • Trimark announced that it has sold all 24 units in The White Oak Tower office condominium conversion project in Vienna, VA. The six-story, 52,700-square-foot building is the tallest office building in the Town of Vienna, and is the centerpiece of the 150,000-square-foot Maple Park office/medical complex.
August 2007
  • Trimark announced that Thos. Somerville Co., a regional distributor of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning supplies, has leased 11,600 square feet, for a term of 12 years, at South Cherry Plaza, in Falls Church, Virginia.
  • Trimark announced that "Security One Bank" has signed a six year lease for 3,474 square feet of office space for its new corporate headquarters at the Pinecrest Building, in Alexandria Virginia.

Trimark recently handled a lease transaction for The Washington Post Company's new warehouse/distribution/storage facility in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

June 2007
  • Trimark was recently retained by Polinger Shannon & Luchs Company to install new Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems during the renovation of Kentwood Apartments located at 4750 Chevy Chase Drive in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Trimark will install new HVAC systems in each of the 62 apartment units on a rolling basis with residents remaining occupied in their apartment units during the renovation.
  • Trimark is concurrently announcing the signing of several leases at 5881 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, VA, totalling 11,542-square-feet.

  • Trimark awarded property and facilities management responsibilities for Catholic Charities USA, an 18,000 square foot office condominium builiding located at 1731 King Street, Alexandria, VA.
  • Trimark is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Brancato as Operations Manager for Facilities Maintenance. Mr. Brancato will be responsible for managing all aspects of Trimark’s facilities maintenance division, including new business development.
  • Trimark Corporation announced it has completed a major renovation and repositioning of South Cherry Plaza , a 32,000-square-foot retail center located at 6537 Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) in Falls Church. In making the decision to renovate the center, Trimark recognized the center’s positive fundamentals and prominent location. The renovation also coincides with overall civic revitalization efforts along Route 50 to attract new and vibrant businesses to this commercial corridor of Falls Church. Kool Smiles, a national chain providing children’s dental care has executed a long-term lease at the center.

  • Trimark is awarded property management responsibilities for King Street Exchange, a 165,000 square foot condominium development in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
  • Trimark is pleased to announce the sale of nine cellular and telecommunication leases along with various easements associated therewith for $1,700,000.
  • Trimark is pleased to announce the appointment of William J. “Jim” Robison as Vice President, HVAC and Facilities Maintenance. Mr. Robison will be responsible for managing Trimark’s growing HVAC and Facilities Management department. The department provides commercial HVAC and facilities management services to Trimark’s management portfolio as well as to third-party building owners, developers, property management firms and construction companies. HVAC services include new installations, replacements of existing equipment, and repairs.

  • TRIMARK SELLS SEVEN OFFICE/MEDICAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS Vienna, Va. -- Trimark Corp. has disposed of seven office/medical condominium units totaling 14,750 square feet at White Oak Tower, a six-story, 50,000-square-foot property located at 301 Maple Ave. West in Vienna. The sales total $5.04 million. Trimark also converted the building, and 50 percent of the first phase of the renovation is now sold. Phase I comprises the renovation and marketing of the first, third, fourth and fifth floors. Phase II, which will revamp the second and sixth floors, will begin in a few months. The building ultimately could include up to 25 units ranging from 900 to 4,000 square feet. Amenities include surface, covered and garage parking; high-speed Internet and cable television; a secure building access system; individually controlled heating and air conditioning; and nearby restaurants, banks and other services.

Trimark Corporation mourns the tragic death of one of its founders and principals, Darrell L. Marsh. Darrell was killed in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 15, 2005 while on a golfing trip. He was touring scenic Pike National Forest as a passenger in a vehicle when it swerved to miss a deer and went off the road down a steep slope. His seat belt and air bag unfortunately could not save him in the single-car accident. Darrell was killed instantly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an educational fund for Darrell’s 2-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter. Checks should be made payable to Virginia Education Savings Trust (VEST) and mailed to Mary Marsh, 4326 Chancery Park Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
